From the Organizers:
Last year, our annual gathering was a fun time and we promised to do it again this year. With funds raised from our event last year, we've been engaging in a mapping project outlining some key hydrological areas around Simcoe County that need better protection. At our Friends' Celebration we will be explaining our plans in more detail as well as fundraising for two key components: phase 2 of the mapping project as well as helping provide support to our member groups through our Member Support Services program.Â
Line up includes: virtual address by Margaret Atwood, Canadian singer-songwriters Coco Love Alcorn and Lily Frost as well as performances by Indigenous musicians and elders Jeff Monague and Heather McIntyre.
