City Lifeguards will be off duty as of 5:30pm on Friday, August 23 for Johnson's Beach, and Friday August 30th for Centennial Beach
Swim buoy lines and drop-off markers will be removed Wednesday, September 4 at Tyndale, Minet's Point, Johnson's and Centennial Beaches
The accessibility mat at Centennial Beach will also be removed September 4

The irony is not lost on us that this direction comes from the city intent on forcing through an artificial turf at Barrie's waterfront, which would leach more chemicals into Kempenfelt Bay on a daily basis than someone draining their pool at the end of season
