Centennial Beach is open from Friday, June 27 to Friday, August 29, with lifeguards on duty from 11:30am-5:30pm daily
Johnson's Beach is open from Friday, June 27 to Friday, August 22, with lifeguards on duty from 11:30am-5:30pm daily
Swim buoy lines including the drop-off markers will be anchored out for the season during the week of June 2
The accessibility mat will be anchored on the sand between lifeguard chairs 4 & 5 at Centennial Beach during regular beach operation hours, and is accessible from the boardwalk
PFDs may be borrowed at no charge whenever Lifeguards are on duty

🦟🦠 2025 West Nile Virus Control Program

Municipally-owned catch basins located on private property will be managed on a request-only basis by the landowner to the Stromwater & Technical Operations Branch - a consent form must be signed by the landowner prior to treatment

Opposing all provisions in Bill 5 that reduce environmental protections and Ontario's proud legacy of protections of endangered species, that override the rule of law and nullify Municipal planning authority
Urging the Province to support housing and infrastructure development in ways that align with sound environmental planning and wildlife protection and empower municipalities with appropriate planning tools
Urging the Province to conduct robust consultation on the Bill
Urging the Province not to use Special Economic Zones to exempt projects from bylaws that impact revenue, including development charge bylaws, property tax bylaws, or fees & charges bylaw
Asks that the Province consider the feedback submitted by the Association for Municipalities in Ontario (AMO) which highlights protecting Municipal autonomy and fiscal sustainability, and Ontario's environment and Indigenous cultural heritage
