An overview of the study, which looks at municipal approval processes & timelines, and compares approaches across municipalities for dealing with the approval and development of new housing.
Barrie ranked first among 16 municipalities in the GTA for new housing approvals, and placed in the top four in the three categories reviewed (planning features - 2nd, approval timelines - 3rd, and government charges - 4th)
