😳⏳ Direct Motion Without Notice – Waterfront Transit Shuttle

  • Nixon explained the reason for this motion without notice was due to time constraints that an application needed to be submitted by the end of the month


🚐🏖️ Waterfront Transit Shuttle

  • That Staff in Transit and Parking Strategy and Economic and Creative Development partner and work with the Downtown Barrie BIA to support their grant submission concerning the development and implementation of a one-year pilot waterfront transit shuttle transit system – the route to include Downtown Barrie, Centennial Beach, South Shore Centre and Allandale GO Station – to the Tourism Growth Program sponsored by the Federal Development Agency for Southern Ontario; and

  • That if successful in receiving funding for this initiative, staff report back to General Committee with the details of the Waterfront Transit Shuttle System

  • APPROVED unanimously
