This new CIP will assist property owners with the restoration, renovation, and repair of properties designated on the Municipal Heritage Register
make a grant for owners of designated heritage properties
provide grant money for the restoration, renovation, and repair of historic buildings, structures and established heritage attributes
establish an annual intake period to receive grant applications
provide grant up to 60% of the total cost of the eligible work, or $10,000, whichever is less
limit the number of applications a property owner can make to one per application intake period

Proposal to permit a residential and institutional development
one building with two towers, a parking structure, outdoor amenity area and green space
approximately 215 affordable housing rental units
approximately 4,750 sq.m of leasable social and community space
Add special provisions to the current Institutional Zone for the property
increase maximum building height from 15m to 38.5m
reduce residential parking standards from 1 to 0.45 parking spaces per dwelling unit
reduce commercial parking from 1 space per 30 sq.m to 1 space per 45 sq.m
