Downtown Parking is enforced on the Civic Holiday; Waterfront parking plus hybrid and marina lots is enforced 24/7/365; some waterfront parking lots will be closed for Kempenfest (barrie.ca/parking)
Fireworks are not permitted this weekend
Tents and sunshades are not permitted at beaches and waterfront parks (Barrie.ca/beaches)

The County will be providing Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka an operational fund of $20K for 2025 (funded from the 2025 operating surplus or the General Contingency Reserve), subject to an acceptable business plan outlining how the organization will spend these funds to support their operations and ensure continued contribution to community safety
The County encourages all partners (Barrie, Barrie Police, Orillia, Muskoka, Dufferin & Crime Stoppers Board) to consider a representative contribution
