Memorandum: https://barrie.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=14334827&GUID=76A31273-5903-41F1-84CC-69556893B6FB from E. Chan, Manager of Transit Fleet

The pilot will run for one year, and staff will evaluate the performances of the BEBs by operating them throughout the transit network under varying seasonal weather and road conditions, and fluctuations in ridership, and determining:
vehicle range
overall energy consumption (kWh)
Energy Efficiency (kWh/km)
Cost of the energy consumed
$/km Diesel vs $/km BEB
Staff will provide quarterly updates to Council and give a more fulsome report back to Council at the end of the pilot program

Resolution from Township of Springwater, July 3: https://barrie.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=14339276&GUID=F95B3AC9-0755-41CC-B4D0-E42109EA5933
Receiving and endorsing correspondence from the Simcoe County Federation of Agriculture, which "strongly supports" the Springwater Agricultural Advisory Committee's rejection of the City of Barrie's annexation proposal, as it would come at the expense of losing productive farmland that is essential for food security, environmental sustainability and the rural economy
