June is Indigenous History Month, and June 21 is Indigenous Peoples Day
The City is partnering with the Barrie Native Friendship Centre, Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin Primary Care Team (Barrie Area Native Advisory Circles), Red Quills, Barrie Public Library and the BIA to provide opportunities for all residents to learn about and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples

🚧⛔️ Dunlop Street Closure – overnight May 15 & 16
The City will be performing horticultural streetscape maintenance work to excavate and place updated material in the planters on Dunlop St. overnight on May 15 & 16 (and possibly 17, weather-dependent)
May 15, 1am-7am, Dunlop will be closed from Poyntz St. to Maple Ave.
May 16, 1am-7am, Dunlop will be closed from Bayfield St. to Toronto St.
