East Hawkesbury is supporting Bill 21, Fixing Long-Term Care Amendment Act (Til Death Do Us Part), which adds the rights of residents to not be separated from their spouse upon admission to LTC, and have accommodation made available so spouses may continue to live together.

King Township is asking the Province to update the Lake Simcoe Phosphorous Reduction Strategy, including revising the phosphorous target and adding other management objectives as necessary, and to develop and fund implementation of a time-bound action plan to achieve the revised strategy with a target date of 2030.
