Seeking to amend the current zoning from Light Industrial with Special Provisions to Light Industrial with (different) Special Provisions
The existing zoning permits automotive sales establishments, as well as the regularly permitted uses under the Light Industrial zone.
The existing designation is proposed to be retained, while adding a defined policy area to permit commercial uses, including a retail store, personal service store, food store, supermarket, and a standalone restaurant on the property
The proposed amendment would allow for three one-storey multi-tenant commercial buildings, totalling 5,789.6 square metres of commercial space

Application for a Zoning Bylaw Amendment, from from "Residential Multiple Dwelling Second Density" with Special Provisions, "Residential Single Detached Dwelling First Density" (R1), and "Environmental Protection" (EP) to "Residential Apartment Dwelling Second Density" with Special Provisions, and "Environmental Protection" (EP), to permit four multi-residential buildings (ranging in height from 8-12 storeys), along with 1076 square metres of commercial space.
Application submitted by Innovative Planning Solutions on behalf of 2570974 Ontario Inc. (Core Advisory Group)
Together, the 4 building will contain a total of 400 units, as well as 469 parking spaces and 8,194 square metres of amenity space
One registered speaker, Greg Stevenson – main concern is parking, and how best to prevent spill-over, as well as having a dedicated snow removal area, so parking spaces don't get blocked in
