Engage Barrie is Re-Launching!
We’ve got a whole lot of answers to “what did you do on your summer vacation?” this year!!
First of all, we’re happy to announce that Engage Barrie Organization is now incorporated as a not-for-profit. The Board is working hard to lay a solid foundation for our contributors and members to build on, and we’re looking forward to getting more people engaged with Engage!
And while we were at it, we decided to go for the gusto, embarking on a total rebranding, as well as our brand-new website at:
We’re excited about adding new ways for members to interact, engage, and get involved in the Members Area, and be a more integral part of the organization. (This pandemic seemed to cut off a lot of the collaboration & communication, just as we were really getting started.) We wanted to provide a platform where we could all communicate and collaborate much more easily than has happened in the last 19 months.
We are also hoping to put together an outdoor public gathering in October (COVID numbers and weather-willing), so we can dream the big dreams in person, especially as we look towards the upcoming municipal election.
